Josh

Born and raised in Western New York, Josh began playing guitar in 1992 and immediately fell in love with the instrument. He moved to Columbus in 1996 to study Geology at The Ohio State University. While attending OSU, he started working at Sawmill Music Center as a Sales Associate, which is where he and Jesse McNamara first started working together and became friends. In 2002, Sawmill Music closed and Jesse opened Music Royale.

After graduating from OSU, Josh stayed close to Music Royale and even helped out at the store on occasion. In January 2010, Josh joined the Music Royale family as a full-time Sales Associate. In 2012, Josh was promoted to General Manager of Music Royale and currently oversees the day to day operations of the business.

Josh enjoys researching and collecting guitars, amps, and effect pedals. Typically, he favors Les Paul guitars and he is very proud of his heavily worn 1977 Les Paul Custom and early two-channel Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amp.
