Rachel Caserta

Instruments Taught: Strings, Violin, Viola, Cello

Rachel studied music at a young age and learned every instrument and style that her teacher’s offered her. The support of her early community led to a lifelong passion for the arts. Rachel believes that students succeed when they are empowered to explore music that they are passionate about. Her focus is to help students build the skills they need to achieve their goals. This includes techniques for breaking down new skills, understanding the ideas behind musical decisions, and learning how to communicate our ideas.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from OSU. She performs regularly with chamber orchestras and symphonies across Ohio. Some of Rachel’s favorite projects have been playing in the pit for Sweeney Todd, performing with Irish fiddle groups, and conducting marching bands. She enjoys using her experience to help students branch out and explore music that inspires them.
