At Music Royale, we pride ourselves on having a friendly, low-pressure staff of professional musicians who are here to help you. Founded in 2002, Music Royale is an old-school, independent, locally owned music store where customers come in to shop or just to say “hi!” We gladly take the time to work with customers of all ages and levels to find the gear or lessons they need to reach their musical goals.

Music Royale excels in the services that are hard to find on the internet and at big box stores. We offer professional instrument repairs, high quality band instruments rentals and the best music lessons in Central Ohio! With over 800 students, Music Royale is Central Ohio’s largest music lesson facility, offering lessons for voice, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, drums, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, saxophone and many other instruments. Although our store has a laid back approach, we take music instruction very seriously. In fact, our teaching staff is the most experienced in Central Ohio. We have many instructors with masters and doctorate degrees, and even a few who also teach at nearby colleges and universities. Music Royale’s acclaimed Rock School program has been teaching students how to rock since 2003, helping launch the careers of many of the top professional musicians in Central Ohio. In addition to our services, we also carry a large variety of guitars, amps and accessories including brands like Alvarez Guitars, Recording King Guitars, Sterling By MusicMan Guitars, Blackstar amplifiers, Orange amplifiers, G&L guitars, Vintage guitars, and Amahi ukuleles.

Music Royale has been named one of the “Top 100 Music Retailers in the World” by the National Association of Music Merchants six times, and has been featured on Time Warner Cable, and in the national magazine “Music And Sound Retailer.” is located just three and a half miles north of I-270 inside the Recreations Outlet (big red barn) shopping center just west of the Sawmill Parkway and Powell Road intersection in Powell, Ohio. We are just a few minutes from Columbus, Worthington, Dublin and Delaware and we have plenty of parking.
